This is a 1960s cocktail shaker made by the British electronics company Pifco. It's fitted with a push-button, battery powered mixing wand.
The body is glass and decorated with a faint, white line spiralling around it.
The metal top is externally finished in chrome and houses a single Type 'C', R14 battery. Press the button and round it goes.
Pifco (Provincial Incandescent Fittings Co.) was founded in Manchester in 1900. They've been selling electric household goods ever since.
