Blue and Green Salt & Pepper Pots

What's for sale?

This is a pair of large, metal salt and pepper shakers, made as tins with twist-off lids.

They have a great look, with colours and font reminiscent of designs from the 1970s.

Who made them and when?

Their appearance and design suggests manufacture sometime between the 1960s and 1980s. Underneath, they're stamped:

• MADE IN ENGLAND
• G.T. DESIGNS

What condition is it in?

• Second-hand
• In fair to good condition and showing their age
• Their shape is good and the lids are tight
• There are quite a few areas with loss of paint, particularly around the lids

What are the measurements?

• 7cm high
• 8cm diameter
• 143 grams for the pair
