What's for sale?
This is the "Simply THX" ladies' watch designed by Swatch for their 2004 Spring and Summer collection, model number GE132PU.
It was intended as a watch to celebrate Mother's Day. Only a small number were made, and they were initially only available from their stores at Place Vendome, Paris and Via Della Spiga, Milan.
It's a pretty design, presenting the watch as a daisy: a golden face on the end of a green leather stalk, hidden by white leather petals.
The unusual construction has a purpose. The button end lets you hang the watch from a handbag or button hole, while the petals protect it. It's an attractive alternative to a fob watch or pocket watch. A key ring adds to the convenience.
It's a standard ladies' watch size, with a 35mm, clear resin case. The brushed, gold-coloured dial has numerals for 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock and markers for the rest. The hour, minute and second hands are white.
Also included is an unused, standard clear resin strap, from Squiggly, the Dutch Swatch specialist.
It has a reliable quartz movement powered by a 390 battery.
