What's for sale?

This is the Swatch "Sightseeing Tour London" ladies' watch for the Swiss watchmaker's Autumn/Winter 2000 catalogue. The model number is GN190PACK.

It's a red, white and blue design over a brushed chrome dial. The two-digit numerals marking the hours are contrasted in white against a red band. There's a sweep second hand in blue and blue hour and minute hands with luminous inserts. It's very clear and easy to read.

The strap is dark blue, translucent plastic. Printed on it in white is the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral and in red, "Big Ben", the clock tower of the Palace of Westminster. Big Ben is actually the name of the Great Bell in the tower.

The watch case is a dark blue resin and inside is a reliable ETA quartz movement powered by a 390 battery.

This watch comes with the special packaging: the front edge lists all the Swatch stores in London, such that when you open it, they appear as bus stops. Above them is a red London bus which you can push along the route, past the stops and so eject the watch from the packaging.
