A Vintage White & Blue Suze Ashtray For Sale

This is a three sided, white glass ashtray, branded with blue lettering for the French aperitif Suze. This shape and colour is less-commonly found among Suze ashtrays. There is no maker's mark.

Within France, Suze is a fairly well-known brand of liqueur, quite bitter and flavoured from the roots of the Alpine plant gentian. It's still made today and drunk as an aperitif or in cocktails, which we certainly prefer, because the key word for us is 'bitter'. Their branded merchandise has become quite collectable around the world.

• In very good condition
• No cracks or chips
• There are a few marks but it looks like it has never seen a cigarette

• 12 cm at the widest point (4.75 inches)
