This is a small, antique, hallmarked, solid silver, mesh evening wear coin purse with decorative, scalloped tassels.

A small ring on one side enables the attachment of a chain and has been stamped with the maker's mark and 800, signifying the purity or finesses of the silver, suggesting that it is late 19th or early 20th century and probably made in Germany or perhaps Italy.
