Solid Silver, Brushed Silver & Gold Vermeil Square Choker Necklace

A 1980s vintage, solid silver and gold-plated silver necklace for sale

This is a 1980s vintage, solid silver necklace in a 42cm, 18 inch, choker length.

It is composed of 47 linked, solid silver squares in 3 finishes: 16 polished, 24 brushed and 7 gold-plated (also known as vermeil, or gilded silver). Each is approximately 8mm square and is impressed with '925' on the back, which is the same finesse as Sterling silver.

Condition

• Second-hand
• The clasp works securely
• The backs of the squares are tarnished
• All the links remain secure

Dimensions

• 42cm long (18 inches)
• It hangs with a drop of around 20cm (7.75 inches)
• 23 grams

The mannequin torso form in the pictures is around size 10-12 UK (38-40 EU).
