Small Green Enamelled Jug with Pewter Lid

What's for sale?

This is a half-pint flat-lid jug, enamelled in green and with a pewter lid and scrolled thumb piece. This would originally have been made in the Victorian period when the lids were a necessary, protective addition.  It's a simple, straight-sided design and we really like the colour.

What condition is it in?

• Second-hand
• In good condition with a few minor scratches
• No chips or cracks

• 10cm from spout to handle
• 8 cm in diameter at the base
• 275 grams
• 300ml capacity
