This is a nice example of a handmade West German vase from the 1960s or 70s.
The colouring is quite representative of the period, with graduated bands of white, dark brown and green. The interior is lined with a matt, dark brown glaze.
The 1950s to 1970s has become a very collectable period for West German art pottery. This piece is probably from the latter part of that time. It's appearance is still fresh and contemporary.
Who made it?
It is unsigned, the but markings on the base almost certainly identify Scheurich Keramik of Germany. The embossed mark reads:
