This is an alarm clock made in the image of Pucca, a South Korean anime comedy cartoon character from the TV series of the same name.
Her father owns a noodle shop and she steals kisses to gain magic powers. She's certainly cute.
The clock and alarm are in full working order. The clock has a sweep second hand and an audible, but quiet tick. The alarm sound is a short, loud beep that repeats quickly.
The alarm is set by by turning the control knob on her back anti-clockwise. The time is set with the same control, but by pulling it out before turning.
The alarm is armed and disarmed using a button on top of her head.
It requires one battery to operate. The battery compartment can hold a second battery as a spare.

Merchandising of Pucca was licensed by the South Korean company Vooz Co. Ltd. The mark on the base reads:
