This is a very collectable spaghetti storage jar, by Price & Kensington potteries. It is hand-decorated with their spongeware blue sheep design and is labelled "Spaghetti" in large letters. It has the original lid with rubber seal.
The decoration was all applied by hand, using shaped pieces of sponge. There was a large range of tableware like this, including teapots, mugs, plates and various serving dishes.
It is fairly modern and made by the Staffordshire pottery Price & Kensington. The range was discontinued several years ago. The maker's mark is embossed on the base and reads:
