This is a classy, black, matinee necklace from Napier with large, glossy beads separated by small gold coloured disks.
On each half of the necklace are two pear-shaped beads with a small gold coloured bead between them.
Who made it?
The clasp is signed "Napier". Napier are an American costume jewellery maker which has been operating in various forms since the late 19th century. The style of the signature dates this necklace between the 1960s and 1980s.
What condition is it in?
The mannequin dress form in the pictures is around size 10-12.
