What's for sale?
This is a set of four, handmade liqueur or aperitif glasses in pale green, with tulip-shaped bowls and twisted or wrythen stems.
The twisted strands in the stem merge together at the bottom of the bowl and form a six pointed star or flower when viewed from above. The result is a tactile stem with a flowing look.
They look well made and have dished feet and polished pontils. Because they are hand made they vary in size.
The clear glass is very clear, they are light and give a bright sound when flicked with the finger nail, so they may well be crystal. We have no idea of the maker, but we think they are from the middle 20th century.
