A framed, second-hand, plant catalogue for Laird & Dickson from 1933. Complete and original.
What's for sale?
This is the 1933 catalogue and price list, from the Edinburgh plant nursery Laird & Dickson.
The front cover is attractively laid out, with great colours and perfectly-styled 1930s lettering.
Laird & Dickson had 5 nurseries in the Edinburgh area. The catalogue is in list form, in no particular order and spans 18 pages of black text, with four colour plates.
It's mounted in a black, engineered wood frame with perspex aperture.
When framing printed memorabilia, we use originals. We don't cut or deface and use a variety of archival methods to preserve and display. The frame is sealed but our method of pinning makes disassembling easier, if you wanted to view the piece (it would require remounting and resealing afterwards).
Like all wall-mounted artwork, avoid hanging in sustained, direct sunlight. Indirect sunlight is fine, but the UV rays in direct sunlight can cause fading over time.
