What's for sale?
This is the trade brochure and price list for the “Dixit” brand of drive belts, which were used for a variety of applications in factories, timber yards, etc.
It was printed for the manufacturer R & J Dick Ltd of Greenhead, Glasgow around June 1938 and contains 20 pages of text and black and white photographs.
It's mounted in a black, engineered wood frame with perspex aperture.
When framing printed memorabilia, we use originals. We don't cut or deface and use a variety of archival methods to preserve and display. The frame is sealed but our method of pinning makes disassembling easier, if you wanted to view the piece (it would require remounting and resealing afterwards).
Like all wall-mounted artwork, avoid hanging in sustained, direct sunlight. Indirect sunlight is fine, but the UV rays in direct sunlight can cause fading over time.
