This is a tall, Delft Blue, branded liqueur flask with stopper and made for the Chobolobo Distillery on the Caribbean island of Curaçao.

It's from the Delft area of the Netherlands in the traditional blue and white, high-gloss finish known as Delft Blauw (Delft Blue).

Depicted on the front are the distillery and the island of Curaçao. On the back is the company's orange tree logo (their liqueurs are made from oranges).

It has its original cork bung with ceramic top which has been decorated with a floral design. This style of flask has been made for a very long time, but this example is from the 1970s.

Curaçao is an autonomous country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

What condition is it in?

  • No chips or cracks
  • It's empty :(
  • The cork appears undamaged but is too tight a fit to be removed
