What's for sale?
This is a Sterling silver and enamel, linked-panel bracelet by Norwegian jewellery manufacturer David Andersen.
It was part of the Wave collection, designed for Andersen by Agnar Skrede during the 1950s.
It's composed of six enamelled silver panels connected by pairs of silver links. On each panel, the pattern comprises five silver waves over an off-white background, embossed with tiny bubbles.
The bracelet is fastened by a simple push-pull tongue clasp.
David Andersen is a Norwegian maker of innovative and collectable silver and enamel jewellery since 1876. This is a good opportunity to own one of their Agnar Skrede designs.
Who made it and when?
It was made by Norwegian jewellery manufacturer David Andersen. The maker's mark reads:
- D-A
- 925S (and scales, the International Convention hallmark)
- Norway Sterling
There's no other mark to identify the individual who made it, so it could have been produced at any time since the 1960s.
