A signed, silver gilt and green enamel pendant on a fine, silver gilt chain. Second-hand.
What's for sale?
This is a gilded silver and green enamel pendant in the shape of a four-petal flower. It was made by the Norwegian jeweller and silversmith, David Andersen.
The pendant and chain are made from silver gilt, and the basse-taille pendant has been filled in with a bright green, translucent enamel.
Basse-taille means low cut and describes the technique of engraving a pattern and covering it with enamel, such that the engraving is still visible beneath.
The pendant is secured by a small locking clasp.

The design is by David Andersen. The maker's mark on the back reads:
