What's for sale?
This is an eye-catching choker necklace by Coro Jewelcraft, set with clusters of citrine-coloured yellow, amber and orange rhinestones.
The centre panel design comprises three yellow flowers and six orange and amber-coloured fruits. The setting is a gold tone alloy of twisting vines and leaves.
On either side are six bar chains, with a shepherd's hook fastener on one end and an extender chain on the other, for altering the length to suit.
The lovely sunny colours make it a nice choice for bridal or wedding jewellery.
Who made it and when?
It was made by Jewelcraft, the UK arm of the American costume jewellery company Coro, probably during the 1950s or 1960s. At one end of the chain is Jewelcraft's trademark pine cone.
