Blue and White Porcelain Coffee Set

What's for sale?

This is a high quality porcelain coffee set with a high glaze and a simple design of blue band and gold highlights.

The set was made in Romania and includes a coffee pot, seven cups and saucers, a milk jug and a sugar bowl. 

A spare, eighth cup is also included.

Who made it and when?

It's modern. The maker's marks states:

• Made in Romania
• ARPO
• Curtea de Argeș
• Porcelaine

What condition is it in?

• Second-hand
• Very good condition with no chips or cracks

What are the measurements?

• Each cup is 4.5cm high and 8cm from rim to handle
• Each saucer is 1cm high and 12.5cm in diameter
• The coffee pot is 19cm high and 20cm from spout to handle
• The milk jug is 9cm high and 9cm from spout to handle
• The sugar bowl is 9cm high and 10cm across the handles
• The whole set weighs 2.2 kilos.
